A Day to Remember


On a mucky summer morning in Ruston, Louisiana, I woke up to my alarm clock buzzing on the table. I was still tired from a late night the night before, but I managed to make it to the showers without tripping over any obstacle on the floor of my room. After I spent half an hour getting cleaned and ready to face the morning, I went to get some breakfast from the cafeteria. The cafeteria might sound unpleasant, but it was extremely delicious and had a buffet. The morning sun was starting to rise and dry the dew on the ground. I never thought the trip coming back from church camp would be such a memorable one.
After we prayed and were dismissed from the last service, all of the youth groups were packed up and ready to take on the long trip home except for one group.
