“What lessons can be learnt from Orwell’s Animal Farm?”

George Orwell’s Animal Farm may be a simple novel to read, but it has many lessons that can be learnt. The novel uses a great deal of symbolism in its exploration of communism, human nature and social failure. Orwell symbolizes the Russian Revolution as a small farm. The main question about this allegory is why did the writer use animals as the communists and not ordinary humans? It is because animals are not expected to take over human activities, as they can’t even take care of themselves. This is a technique that stresses how the general public, which were the weaker group in the Russian Revolution, rebel and overthrow the people in power. In this case the animals of Animal Farm evict their human owner and take control.
