“What Does It Mean To Be Patriotic?”

As I hang up my American Flag outside of my house, I think of why I am putting this up, I think of how many people died for our country. I look at all fifty stars and thirteen stripes. I am a citizen of America. I am proud to be an American. There are a lot of people in this country, in this state, in this town, in this school, yet does any one look back on the Veterans?
Does any one think of how it felt to the army men on the battlefield? They must have been extremely scared, gunshots flying everywhere, bombs exploding next to you. The wet ground soaked in blood of your soldiers. Seeing their friends lay still on the e...
