"Out of many" The econmoy of jamiaca

“Out of many, one people” the motto of the small developing island of Jamaica, is the home to 2.6 million people ranging from China to the United States. On this beautiful island where it seems the sun never stops shinning is the home of the number one crime rate in the world. Based on land size and population Jamaica leads in the world’s crime rate followed by Iraq and Iran.
Jamaica economy based on tourism and its natural resources such as bauxite, sugar and coffee keeps this island going. But, crime has Jamaica on its way to further debt and has affected other aspects of its economy such as education, employment, and immigration.
Jamaica’s political security has also been affected by crime, and is thought by many people to be the number reason for crime in Jamaica. Since statistics prove that around election time the crime rate goes up.
