Research Problem
This study looks at college student’s perception of consent and/or nonconsent behaviors for sexual intercourse.
Significance
Men and women communicate consent or noncosent in different way both verbally and nonverbally. The way in which a person interprets these behaviors can ultimately lead to unsolicited sexual activities or rape. A better understanding of how a person behaves to show consent would aid in better communication between partners and hopefully decrease the number of unwanted sexual encounters.
