William Shakespeare uses many metaphors, he uses them to express his messages

to his audience. William Shakespeare expresses his feelings of getting closer to death by

comparing life to seasons, fire, and the cycle of day. He uses fire and man as his

mataphor. The cycle of fire, is where he compares fire, and life. He says, "In me thou
